We are raising £65 million in the ‘Our College Our Future’ campaign for the benefit of our students and to strengthen your College for generations to come. The campaign enables us to invest in world class teaching and research, provide generous student support, enrich College life and execute a planned renewal of our buildings and spaces. We have currently raised £60.6 million.
As we enter the final stage of the ‘Our College, Our Future’ campaign, we turn to you as our valued alumni and friends now more than ever, to help us support our students and enrich their education.
University fees only cover 28% of the College’s income each year. Your College subsidises each student every year by £5,000 to deliver the Cambridge education we all value. This creates an ongoing deficit for the College. Unrestricted gifts continue to be the most helpful way you can support your College, because they allow us to direct your gift to the highest priority area at the time it is received.
In addition we are focusing on increasing our support for undergraduate and postgraduate students, key aspects of College life and the refurbishment of Hobsons – and you may prefer to focus your support by specifying one of these projects.
Thank you once again to all those already engaged in our endeavour. We can only achieve our plans with your help. If you have not yet supported our current campaign, please consider doing so this year.
